Fort Benning — Gates & Instructions

Main Gate (Benning Boulevard Gate) – Located at 2895 Wold Ave, Fort Benning, GA 31905.Entry is off Aviation Blvd and El Segundo Blvd.

• Entry is off Fort Benning Road and Benning Blvd.
• For GPS, use: Fort Benning Visitor Control Center, 2895 Wold Ave, Fort Benning, GA 31905.
• Visitors must have base access or be sponsored by a DoD ID cardholder. Expect delays during morning traffic and training cycles.

Harmony Church Gate (GA-27 / Cusseta Road Gate) – Located along GA-27 (Cusseta Road) on the western side of the installation.

• Entry is off Cusseta Road (GA-27) with direct access to Harmony Church and maneuver training areas.
• For GPS, use: Harmony Church Access Control Point, GA-27, Fort Benning, GA 31905.
• Visitors must have base access or a DoD sponsor. Morning traffic is moderate due to training rotations.

Sand Hill Gate (Basic Training Access Point) – Located near 10841 Old Cusseta Rd, Fort Benning, GA 31905.

• Entry is via Old Cusseta Road, providing access to Basic Training, OSUT, and AIT training complexes.
• For GPS, use: Sand Hill Gate, 10841 Old Cusseta Rd, Fort Benning, GA 31905.
• Expect congestion on ship days and graduation mornings. A DoD sponsor or proper access credentials are required.

Eddy Bridge Gate (Phenix City Access Point) – Located off 2nd Infantry Division Rd, serving commuters coming from Phenix City, AL.

• Entry crosses the river via Eddy Bridge, offering quick access to ranges and motor pools on the west side of post.
• For GPS, use: Eddy Bridge Access Control Point, 2nd Infantry Division Rd, Fort Benning, GA 31905.
• Typical traffic flow is steady; occasional delays due to construction or peak training periods. A DoD sponsor or approved access is required.
